Friends, if you are in need of some relaxation, self-care and alone time (yes, I said it!), then you have to check out Oasis Face Bar in Worthington. It is absolutely divine. On a whim, I decided to make an appointment to see what a face bar is all about, and I can officially tell you that I will be a ‘regular’ now.

Located in the heart of the Worthington on High Street, this ‘face bar’ is cozy and comfortable, and the staff makes you feel like an old family friend the minute that you walk in. Safety precautions are in order — masks are required and worn, and my temperature was immediately taken upon entering. Reservations are scheduled online in an effort to limit the number of patrons in the building – I was the only customer there and felt extremely safe throughout my entire service.

You can take advantage of a variety of targeted treatment packages, ranging from the ‘Clear’ which includes a deep cleanse and extractions for congested or acne-prone skin to the ‘Enlighten’ which brightens and evens out skin tone with a signature pumpkin peel. Because I am new to the ‘face bar’ world and was slightly apprehensive about the reaction that my skin might have to treatment, I went with the ‘Soothe’. This treatment is specifically for reactive and sensitive skin and includes specialty cannabis and honey product application. It was honestly perfect — extremely relaxing, refreshing and gentle. Each 30 minute package costs $49 which was well worth it in my opinion.

Now, the fun part – you can add bonus services onto your initial package which not only makes the end result that much better but also extends the relaxation time 🙂 I splurged a bit (it was my first time so why not?) and added on an eyebrow wax, dermoplaning (a treatment that removes dead skin cells and adds a ‘glow’ to your skin) and an amazing facial massage. All in all, it was a delightful experience, and I was honestly shocked at how much more radiant my skin looked (and still looks one week later!) after the treatment.

And if you aren’t able to visit Oasis, you can also purchase one of their At Home Facial Kits! There are five different options to choose from and each is filled with product samples (enough for two home facials) along with instructions and a surprise “special item”. My amazing sister-in-law surprised me by sending the “Enlighten” which helps correct uneven skin tone and brightness. It came with Pumpkin Enzyme, a mask, cleanser and facial oil along with the cutest Bandi headband (the surprise) which is an essential accessory for keeping your hair intact:)
