I don’t know about you, but I can sure use a piece of cheesecake right now. To be honest, I would prefer some wine, but since I have to wait a few more months for that, I can settle for some of my favorite sweet treats from The Cheesecake Girl, a Columbus based bakery that focuses on local ingredients & made from scratch baked goods.
If you haven’t visited their store front inside the adorable Center Street Market, you need to get there ASAP. Ellie and I had a great time picking out the perfect assortment of their mini cheesecakes, which are perfect when you just can’t decide which flavor to go with (they have more than 50!)! We went with:
- Pumpkin Gingersnap: Gingerbread cookie crust, pumpkin cheesecake filling, topped with buttercream
- Blueberry Goat Cheese: Shortbread crust, goat cheese cheesecake filling topped with blueberry
And Ellie also convinced me to grab a few of the Sprinkle Sandwich Cookies – how could I say no?!
Ellie also talked me into a bag of cheddar popcorn from Al’s Delicious Popcorn — she is a pretty good negotiator 🙂
