While the holidays have come to a close, you still can participate in one amazing Columbus activity if you’re not quite ready to let go of the season. If you haven’t checked out Conservatory Aglow at the Franklin Park Conservatory, you are in luck as it will run through January 10 this year. So, for one more week, you can walk through a magical park filled with thousands of beautiful lights  – and the best part? The majority of the experience takes place outdoors to allow for a safer experience – along with limited capacity and a reservation system to encourage appropriate social distancing.

My kids loved all of the brightly lit displays – and especially enjoyed the new Candyland scene complete with a life-size gingerbread house, the Paul Busse Garden Railway (an AWESOME train display that we’ve been meaning to check out for awhile now), sparkling rivers and glowing tunnels!

And when hunger hit along the way, we found a fresh popped kettle corn stand – along with some hot chocolate to warm up! FYI that they are serving adult beverages too!

Of course, we also had to check out the famous rainbow tunnel which is certainly a sight to see (and a fun photo op)!

Finally, for those comfortable venturing indoors, the Gingerbread Competition exhibit is certainly a sight to see (if it’s still up and running)!

A holiday experience that you won’t want to miss (even post-holidays!), but be sure to reserve your tickets in advance!
