We are so excited to kick off this week’s #kidsgivebackcolumbus project with Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio, an organization that provides hope for families of seriously ill children. Every family coming to RMDH receives a welcome blanket that will hopefully comfort children during their stay, and we are getting ready to assemble some of these much needed blankets!

My kiddos had so much fun picking out their favorite fleece to get us started!

And I also discovered that Jo Ann Fabric & Craft Stores sells pre-cut no sew fleece throw kits if you want to simplify the process!

We’ll be making blankets this week and dropping them off at their Columbus location.

So many of you offered to get involved in our five week project (thank you!!) so if you’d like to make a blanket, I am happy to take all the donations downtown together to save you a trip! If you’re local, I can swing by your house to pick it up if needed.

For more information on the types of blankets needed, I have included the link to details. And if blanket making is not your area of expertise, there is also a need for snack packs which are also needed (I’m happy to deliver these as well)!

We’ll be taking our trip down to RMDH the week of November 2 so just let me know if you’d like me to add your blankets or snack packs to my delivery 🙂
